LUMBERJACK LAPS KIDS FUN RUN
Cloquet High School TRACK – Cloquet, MN
Saturday, May 15, 2010 – 10:00 a.m.
ABOUT THE RACE: Race presented by the Washington Elementary School Partners in Education (PIE). Events will take place at the Cloquet High School Track in the following divisions: 100 yd. Dash (ages 4 and under – parents may run with their child(ren) during this race), 1/4 mile (ages 5-6), 1/4 mile (ages 7-8), 1/2 mile (ages 9-10), 1/2 mile (ages 11-12), Lumberjack Mile (12 and under), Legacy Mile Walk/Run (13 and older). Participants may enter in both their age division race and the Lumberjack Mile if desired.
Participation ribbons will be given to all 12 and under finishers. Medals will be given to top three boy and top three girl finishers in each 12 and under race division. Prizes will be awarded to top overall finishers in the Legacy Mile.
WHERE: Cloquet High School Outdoor Track, 1008 18th St., Cloquet, MN.
WHEN: Saturday, May 15, 2010. Races begin at 10:00 a.m. Check-in and same-day registration is from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Awards Ceremony to follow races. The event is open to the public. Rain date is Sunday, May 16, 2010, Noon.
COURSE: Participants will race on an outdoor 400-meter track. The race will be timed.
ENTRY FEES: $5 per person if received by Monday, May 10, $8 per person after May 10. Entry fees are non-refundable.
All proceeds support the Washington Elementary School Playground & Technology Fund.

RACE AMENITIES: This event will feature an opening flag ceremony, mascot race, door prize giveaways, and an award ceremony following the races. Concessions will be available for purchase. A registered nurse will be on site. Must be present for door prizes and awards.
