Municipal Parks

+Athletic Park - Lighted hockey and skating rinks, lighted ball field and new playground equipment. Located East of 14th Street at Prospect Avenue.

Big Lake - Playgrounds, boating, swimming and fishing.

+*Braun Park - The city’s newest park featuring a six field baseball and softball complex, playground and concessions. Located at 14th Street and Lawrence Road.

East End Park – Picnic park on Cloquet Ave at 14th St.

Fauley Memorial Park - Picnic area and last steam locomotive of the D&NE Railroad. Located on the Northwest of Cloquet Avenue & Hwy 33.

*Hilltop Park - New soccer fields, playground and picnic area. Located on the corner of 14th Street and John Road.

Little People’s Park - Is especially for children – fun playground equipment. Located at Carlton Avenue West and Larch Street.

Pinehurst Park - Baseball diamond, band shell, playground, picnic area, swimming and skating rink. Located west of Hwy 33 at Carlton Avenue.

Pine Valley Park – Indoor hockey rinks, hiking trails, cross country ski trails, ski jumps, ski chalet and wooded picnic area. Located off Hwy 33 on Armory Road.

*~Sunnyside Park - Picnic area, basketball and tennis court, skating rink, ball field and sliding hill. Located across from Churchill School.

*~Veteran’s Memorial Park - Picnic area and memorial. Located at Hwy 33 & Cloquet Avenue.

Wentworth Park - Skateboard facility and picnic area. Located on Avenue B & Arch Street.
