The Business Enhancement & Retention Committee works to support the success of local businesses by providing educational opportunities, fostering collaboration, and promoting economic growth throughout the Cloquet area.

What They Do

Business Education & Networking

Provide educational and informational opportunities, including the Chamber's Lunch & Learn series, to help businesses grow, connect, and stay informed.

Business Outreach & Retention

Maintain open communication with local businesses to better understand their challenges, identify trends, and support their long-term success.

Economic Development Partnerships

Partner with the City of Cloquet and Carlton County Economic Development to strengthen existing businesses through outreach, collaboration, and business retention initiatives.

Chamber Membership Growth

Promote the value of Chamber membership, encourage active participation, welcome new members, and help businesses maximize their membership benefits.

Business Leadership Program

Plan and support the Business Leadership Training Program by coordinating curriculum, marketing, participant engagement, graduation events, and alumni opportunities.

Shop Local Initiatives

Promote the Chamber Bucks Program and encourage residents and businesses to support Chamber members by shopping locally whenever possible.
